PRAYERS.

Psalm 46:10
10. "Be still, and know that I am God."
Matthew 6:6
6.But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and 
   pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who
   sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Matthew 7:7-11
7."Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; 
   knock and the door will be opened to you. 8.For everyone 
   who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who 
   knocks, the door will be opened. 9"Which of you, if his son
   asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a
   fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are
   evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how 
   much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to
   those who ask him!
Matthew 18:19-20

19."Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about 
      anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my 
      Father in heaven. 20For where two or three come 
      together in my name, there am I with them."
Matthew 21:22
22.If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in 
     prayer."

27.Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is 
     impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with
     God."

1. I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, 
    intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— 
2. for kings and all those in authority, that we may live
    peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
Hebrews 4:16
16.Let us then approach the throne of grace with 
     confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find 
     grace to help us in our time of need.
James 1:5-6
5. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives
    generously to all without finding fault, and it will be 
    given to him. 6But when he asks, he must believe and not
    doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea,
    blown and tossed by the wind.
James 4:2
2.You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, 
    but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and 
    fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God.

     each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a 
     righteous man is powerful and effective.

21.Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have 
     confidence before God 22.and receive from him anything
     we ask,because we obey his commands and do what 
     pleases him.

14.This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that
     if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15.And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we
     know that we have what we asked of him.
